Group Trainings are the foundation of Desert Barbell Weightlifting Club and is open only to members of Desert Barbell Sports Club.

Group training is suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced lifters. Sessions will be supervised by Desert Barbell Coaches, who will either join in the training session or provide coaching support and assistance to group members.

If you are not on a program, we will provide you with a basic program template to follow to help give you structure to your training.

Group training will be limited to 15 lifters at a time, additional sessions will be added as an when needed.

You are required to arrive 15minutes before the session starts for group warm up and mobilization. 

For experienced lifters, this is a great session to train with other experienced lifters and to help new lifters get a strong start.

  1. I am an experienced lifter and already have a program, is this for me? Yes it is! This is the foundation of Desert Barbell Weightlifting Club. You will train with other experienced lifters to help push you further and support you continued growth
  2. I am a beginner, can I participate? Yes you should! Not only will you have supervision from experienced coaches, but you will also train with other experienced lifters so you will continually learn
  3. Do I need to have a program? Not at all. While you can opt for customized programming from coach Ine, we will provide a basic workout template for each group training session so you have a basic structure to follow
